Every year, the Group's operating units, define improvement activities to be developed in the short, medium and long term, tending to a continuous quality improvement. Depending on the type of activity, we seek the improvement of all production processes, organization of the structure, the proper information flow, the cleanliness and order in any environment, with particular attention to the processes of problem solving and non-quality.

Amongst the activities already undertaken and accomplished, here are some examples:

  • Investments on the renewal of the production fleet and on the maintenance and improvement of facilities;
  • Scheduling of the production at finished capacity which considers the usage of plant, machinery, equipment and human resources which are limited in time and available to perform one operation at a time.
  • 5S activity: The 5S philosophy incorporates within five steps a systematic and repeatable method for the optimization of standards labor and thus to improve our operating performance.
  • Management and reduction of non-quality::
    • Prevention: prevention is the most important action you can take to ensure the achievement of a set level of quality. Prevention is accomplished through the application of appropriate and adequate tools.
    • Checks and corrective actions: sharing proposals to facilitate and encourage the improvement; implement and replicate solutions to simplify and improve data collection; enhancing NON-QUALITY.
